Parte de nuestra misión es servir como recurso a la comunidad en varias formas: • Ofrecemos información, referencias y contactos para obtener servicios disponibles en el área. • Aconsejamos y ayudamos a los hispanos recién llegados a adaptarse a su nuevo entorno, damos orientación e instrucción sobre cultura y costumbres locales para facilitar su transición y ayudarlos a incorporarse en la comunidad. • Promovemos y preservamos la riqueza y variedad de la cultura hispana. • Proveemos información sobre el sistema legal de este país, así como contactos para consejería legal experta en asuntos de inmigración. • Impartimos enseñanza de inglés a los latinos para capacitarlos a comunicarse en ese idioma. Part of our mission is to serve as a resource to the community by: • Educating newcomers about available community services. • Advising and assisting Hispanics to adjust to new homes, new jobs, and a different culture in a new country in order to facilitate the adaptation process. • Maintaining and sharing the richness and variety of the Hispanic culture. • Providing information through seminars on the legal system of this country, as well as providing referrals for legal advice on legal situations including immigration. • Teaching English to help immigrants communicate properly in this nation’s language.
